BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — Add another to the national recognition list. University at Buffalo offensive lineman Kayode Awosika has been named to the Outland Trophy watch list, an award given to the nation's top interior lineman in college football.
The senior has started at right tackle for the Bull over the past two seasons. That included being a part of the 2019 line that is considered to be one of the best offensive lines in school history. The unit was named honorable mention for the Joe Moore Award after allowing just eight sacks all season and helping their backfield rush for a school-record 3,256 yards.
Awosika is one of 85 players on the watch list and one of five from the Mid-American Conference.
