AMHERST, NY (WKBW) — UB guard Dyaisha Fair has been named to the midseason watch list for the Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Award, her second straight season of landing on the list.
Fair is currently 22nd in the nation in scoring [22.4 points per game] and ranks in the top 20 nationally in assists [46], free throws made [45], and points [156]. She is also averaging 6.4 rebounds and 2.8 steals a game.
Semifinalists will be announced in February with the five finalists announced in early March. Fair is one of five players from the Mid-American Conference named to the list.
