UB's Dyaisha Fair named a top 10 finalist for Nancy Lieberman Award

AMHERST, NY (WKBW) — For the first time in school history, a member of the UB women's basketball team has been named a finalist for the 2021 Nancy Lieberman Award.

Sophomore guard Dyaisha Fair has been named one of 10 finalists, which honors the best point guard in NCAA D-I basketball.

Fair has had quite the career at UB, in the middle of just her second season with the Bulls. She became the fastest in program history to score 1,000 career points [44 games] and is one of just 10 D-I players to record a triple-double. Fair is currently ranked 8th in the nation in scoring and also ranks in the top 25 in free throws made, assists, steals, and points.
