UB's Cierra Dillard named espnW's player of the week

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — She's one of the top scorers in the nation and after another dominating week, UB's Cierra Dillard is being recognized, named espnW's player of the week on Monday.

In an overtime win over Eastern Michigan on Wednesday, Dillard scored 43 points, a career and school record. She added 26 points in a win over Miami (OH) on Saturday afternoon.

On the season, Dillard is averaging 25.9 points a game and according to NCAA.com, she leads the nation in scoring along with Megan Gustafson of Iowa.

The Bulls are back in action on Wednesday when they host Ball State.
