UB women's hoops wins first MAC title

The University at Buffalo women's basketball team has qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.

The Bulls punched their ticket to the national tourney by beating Central Michigan on Saturday 73-71 in overtime.

Stephanie Reid scored 10 points in the game, including the game-winning bucket as time expired in OT.

Reid was named the tournament's most valuable player.

The Bulls will find out their opponent for the NCAA Tournament and where they will play on Monday night.
