UB overcame a slow start to rally past Western Michigan 66-54 Saturday afternoon at Alumni Arena.
The Bulls opened the game 1-for-11 from the floor and had just one field goal in the first five minutes of action.
Buffalo shot just 30 percent from the floor in the opening stanza and trailed 33-28 at the break.

"Big Shot" Blake Hamilton and Nick Perkins each answered the bell in the second stanza.

Hamilton scored 10 of his 15 in the second half, and finished a rebound shy of a triple-double adding 10 assists to the box score.
Perkins poured in 16 of his team high 21 in the final 20 minutes.
Willie Conner added 12 in the victory.
With the win, UB improves to 8-10 (2-3 MAC).
