BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The UB men's basketball team will take part in the 12th annual Charleston Classic this Fall and their first opponent will be UConn. The Bulls are 1-7 all-time against the Huskies and will be playing them for the first time since the 2008-2009 season.
The field and bracket were released Thursday afternoon and will feature eight teams.

Along with UB and UConn, the other teams competing are Missouri State, Miami, Florida, Saint Joseph's, Xavier and Towson. The Charleston Classic runs from November 21st through the 24th at TD Arena.
UB is coming off one of if not the best season in program history. The Bulls finished with a 32-4 record, won the Mid-Atlantic Conference Tournament and made it to the NCAA Tournament's round-of-32 for the second straight season.
