Fourteen high school football players have chosen to take their talents to UB, a class UB Head Coach Lance Liepold is extremely excited about.
The initial signing class is made up of six lineman, two linebackers, a defensive back, two running backs, a wide receiver, a tight end, and a quarterback. Two of those players are Western New York natives in West Seneca West QB Matt Myers and Sweet Home running back Dylan McDuffie.
The class includes seven that plan to enroll in January.
"This is the best we've done in Western New York and the state," coach Leipold said in a press release from the school. "As we continue to evolve as a staff and as a program, we understand what it takes to compete in the Mid-American Conference.
The Bulls finished the 2017 season at 6-6 but wasn't chosen for a bowl game despite becoming bowl eligible for just the third time in program history.
Below is a list of the 2018 signees who took advantage of the early signing period.
