St. Bonaventure fans received good news Saturday afternoon when the team announced that Jaylen Adams would finally suit up for a game.

Adams' season debut was just the start as the Bonnies defeated UB 73-62 in a Big 4 battle.

The Bulls led it early in the 1st half by six points with 3:25 left before the Bonnies cut that lead to three heading into halftime.

The 2nd half of play was tight once again as both teams sat at 51 points with a little under 11 minutes to play. It was then that the Bonnies started to slowly pull ahead for good en route to the win.

It was a somewhat sloppy game where both teams shot under 38% on the afternoon.

The Bonnies were led by Matt Mobley with 25 points while Courtney Stockard had 13 points and nine rebounds. In his season debut, Adams ended with nine points and four rebounds. The win improves them to 5-2 on the season. They'll play at Canisius on Wednesday.

On the other end of the floor, the Bulls were led by Nick Perkins and C.J. Massinburg each with 21 points and eight rebounds. The loss drops them to 4-3 on the season. They'll play at Delaware on Wednesday.
