Patterson named Walter Camp National Offensive player of the week after record-breaking performance

AMHERST, NY (WKBW) — For the second time in his career, UB running back Jaret Patterson has been named the Water Camp National Player of the Week.

Patterson is coming off a performance against Kent State where he rushed for 409 yards on 36 carries and eight touchdowns. His 409 yards is the second-highest single-game total in FBS history while his eight touchdown performance ties a FBS record.

The junior has 920 rushing yards through four games this season along with 16 touchdowns. His longest run is for 67 yards.

The Bulls are 4-0 on the season and received 56 votes in this week's AP Top 25 poll. They play at Ohio on Saturday, December 5th.
