AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) — Sophomore running back Jaret Patterson had a record-breaking day on Friday afternoon as UB topped Bowling Green 49-7 in the team's regular season finale. The win gave the Bulls their 7th of the season, one week ahead of bowl game selection.
Patterson scored the team's first six touchdowns on the day, his sxith and final set a MAC-record for rushing touchdowns in a single game. That's not all he did though. His 298 rushing yards on the day is a new single-game school record and those yards comined with his six rushing touchdowns are the most by a player in the nation this season.

Running back Kevin Marks also surpassed the 100-yard mark, finishing with 107. Quarterback Kyle Vantrease played a little more than three quarters of play. He finished 10-of-14 for 131 yards. His top target was Antonio Nunn who finished with four catches for 67 yards.
The Bulls defense had another dominating performance, allowing just 81 yards passing and 106 yards rushing.
UB will now wait until the postseason selection show to find out where they'll play their final game of the season.
