Patterson brothers earn MAC East honors following UB's win over Bowling Green

AMHERST, NY (WKBW) — There's a double dose of Patterson when it comes to Mid-American Conference honors following the third week of the regular season. Twins Jaret and James were named players of the week by the MAC East Division after their performances in the team's in over Bowling Green.

Jaret, who won the award earlier this season, earned the East Division co-offensive player of the week honor after the junior running back rushed for a school-record 301 yards and four touchdowns. He currently leads the nation in rushing, averaging 170.3 yards per game.

James, who won the award for the first time in his career, earned the East Division defensive players of the week after recording a career-high 13 tackles and a pass breakup. He also had a game-high eight solo tackles.

The Bulls are back in action on Saturday, Nov. 28 when they host Kent State.
