AMHERST, NY (WKBW) — The accolades continue to roll in for UB running back Jaret Patterson.

Patterson, who had a record-breaking year despite only playing in six games, was named a second-team All-American by the Associated Press becoming just the second UB player to receive the honor at the FBS level [Khalil Mack].

Patterson finished the season with 1,072 rushing yards in six games, averaging 178.7 yards a game. He's also currently tied for second in the nation with rushing touchdowns [19]. He also set and tied multiple NCAA records, including becoming one of the fastest players to reach 1,000 yards in a season and for total rushing touchdowns in a single game.

The Bulls finished the shortened 2020 season with a 6-1 record and the program's second Bowl win.
