BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference softball tournament begins this later this week and for the first time since 2013, Niagara will be in the field.
The Purple Eagles secured the tournament's 5th seed following their regular season schedule where they won eight of their last ten conference games to finish with an 11-9 MAAC record.
Niagara joins Fairfield, Iona, Marist, Monmouth and Siena in this year's MAAC Tournament.
The MAAC Tournament begins Wednesday, May 8th in Poughkeepsie. It's a double-elimination format.
