"If you watch him on tape, which we did a lot of, he shows flashes where he can be a pro," Niagara Head Coach Chris Casey said. "He scores from all three levels, and he gets to the basket. He's good at making plays for other guys, too. There were a couple times when we were right there and then he made plays."
"If I get clean looks, they expect me to take them" Adams said. "My teammates put me in good spots and I just shoot it."
Niagara was led in scoring by Kahlil Dukes, who had 21.
A back and forth affair in the first half, James Towns hit a bucket at time expired to pull the Purple Eagles within 34-31 at the break.
"I thought we played extremely hard, showed a lot of fight especially at points where the game could have gotten away from us," Casey said. "I'm proud for our guys for that."
