After 10 ties and nine lead changes, it was Rider outlasting Canisius Monday night at the Koessler Athletic Center for a 72-66 win over the hometown Griffs.
With the loss Canisius falls to 13-10 overall and 6-6 in the Metro Atlantic.
The Broncs out-muscled the Griffs in the paint, using a 34-24 advantage to help them improve to 13-10 and 6-6 in conference action as well.
Rider's bench also outscored Canisius 20-4 on the night.
