BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Following a two-year career with the UB men's basketball team, Montell McRae is continuing his basketball career overseas.

McRae has signed a contract with Cheshire Phoenix of the British Basketball League. The team announced the signing on Friday.

McRae started every game for the Bulls last season, averaging 5.6 points and 3.4 rebounds a game. His best outing came against Eastern Michigan on January 4th where he had a season-high 18 points. Before joining the UB Bulls, McRae played two seasons at South Plains Junior College.

The Bulls have sent two of their five seniors from last year's team overseas. McRae joins Jeremy Harris who signed a pro contract in Hungary earlier this week.
