Dillard became the first UB player to be selected in the WNBA Draft, taken by the Minnesota Lynx back in April. She attended Lynx training camp before being waived. The Sparks claimed Dillard a few days later. Dillard posted a message on Twitter on Saturday afternoon, shortly before the official release was sent.
Thank you LA for the experience & lessons. Also getting to know what I can bring to the table, and also being so very real with me! There’s a timing for everything. Getting and staying ready for overseas & future opportunities. I will shock people again very soon!💯 #Itsaprocess
