BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Daemen women's soccer team is going dancing for the first time ever. On Monday night, the Wildcats learned they had received an at-large bid and will be taking part in the NCAA DII Tournament.'

The Wildcats finished the regular season with an 11-3-3 record, recording the program's most wins since 2011. but didn't earn a berth to the East Coast Conference postseason. Despite that, the Wildcats proved their schedule was strong enough to continue playing.
Daemen is the 8th seed in the East Region and will take on Saint Rose, the top seed, in the first round. Thegame will be played in Albany on Friday, November 22nd at 6 p.m.
