Trailing by four at half against 5th seeded District of Columbia, Daemen rallied in the second half to secure a 73-71 win to advance to the East Coast Conference second round.
Arif Mehmetaj scored 14 of his game-high 23 points in the second half, while Deion Hamilton also had a spectacular 20 minutes, dropping in 16 in the final stanza.
Jeff Redband rounded out Daemen players in double figures, with 11.
The 4th seeded Wildcats will now play top seed St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday.
