BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The awards keep rolling in for UB's Cierra Dillard who is now up for a prestigious honor.
Dillard has been named one of four finalists for the Dawn Staley Award, which honors the nation's best guard. She's a finalist along with Asia Durr of Louisville, Sabrina Ionescu of Oregon and Arike Ogunbowale of Notre Dame.
Dillard is averaging more than 25 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals a game this season. She currently ranks second in the nation among all DI players in scoring, free throws made and free throws attempted.
The winner will be announced on Thursday, April 11th in Philadelphia.
