BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — The Canisius men's basketball program is once again on pause after a "Tier 1" member tested positive for COVID-19. As a result of the positive test the team's series against Siena, scheduled for January 8th and 9th, has been postponed.
This is the third known pause of the program since preseason practices and conditioning began. Coach Reggie Witherspoon tested positive for the virus in October and a month later, another Tier 1 team personnel tested positive, pausing things once again before the regular season began.
The Canisius women's basketball team paused all team activities for the same reason on Sunday.
