Buffalo State leaders listened to concerns from students Sunday night after a recent string of attacks on campus.
Many students believe the university needs to add more patrol officers on campus. But Chief Peter Cary counters his department is well staffed and they have to live within a budget.
Students also suggested to Buffalo State President Dr. Katherine Conway-Turner that her administration needs to come up with more practical ways of making campus security better.
One student says the university should consider getting some type of smartphone app that students can use if they get attacked on campus.
President Turner says she will take a deeper look at all of this ideas and work with students on coming up with some real solutions to Buffalo State crime.
