Cheektowaga's Ryan Ciminelli rallied to defeat North Tonawanda's John Szczerbinski to win the 53rd Obenauer Masters Tournament on Sunday.
Ciminelli, who also won the US Open in November of last year, topped Szczerbinski 687-662 to force a winner-take-all showdown at AMF Airport Lanes in Cheektowaga.
After throwing a 183 in his second set, the Cheektowaga native bowled a perfect game in his final set to force another three game match.
He bested Szczerbinski by 141 pins in the final match to secure the title.
Earlier in the day Ciminelli defeated Medina's Curtis Foss to advance to the championship.
