BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — After being eliminated from playoff contention last week, the Buffalo Bisons finished their 2019 campaign with a 5-3 win over the Scranton-Wilkes Barre RailRiders. As a result, the herd posted its first season above .500 since 2014. It's also manager Bobby Meacham's first winning season in Buffalo.

The Bisons came out on top today thanks to home runs from Andy Burns, Forrest Wall, and Anthony Alford. They also forced the RailRiders into a one-game play-in with the Syracuse Mets for the International League north division title.

The Toronto Blue Jays still have 23 games to go in 2019. As for the Bisons, they start their 2020 campaign on April 9th and host Rochester for their home opener on April 17th.
