Stanford's Brandon Wu flirted with a historic final round score, and ultimately fired a 64 on the final day of action to secure the 59th Porter Cup at Niagara Falls Country Club.
Wu, who had six birdies on the afternoon, was a stroke away from tying Phil Mickelson's historic round of 63, which he shot when he won the tournament in 1990.

Heading into the day Wu was tied for first along with Pittsford's Gavin Hall, Georgia's Christopher Petefish and Australia's Travis Smyth.
Petefish, who finished second, shot a final round of 67 to finish 3-under on the day and 8-under for the tournament.
Hall carded a 68 and Smyth a 70 as they placed third and fourth respectively.
