BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — As the Toronto Blue Jays get ready for the playoffs, the team offered some gratitude to the city they called, "home away from dome."

The Blue Jays dropped their final game of the season and their final game at Sahlen Field, losing 7-5 to the Baltimore Orioles on Sunday, but they did thank Buffalo for taking the team with open arms.

The team had an impressive record in their 26 games at Sahlen Field, going 17-9.

On the year, the Blue Jays ended up with a 32-28 record, good enough to make the eighth and final playoff spot in the American League.

The Blue Jays will take on their American League East rival Tampa Bay Rays in the first round.

The Jays ended up going 4-6 against the Rays this year.

The two teams will begin their series at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

You can watch the game on TBS.
