Due to the concussions suffered by two of the three quarterbacks on the Buffalo Bills roster, the team had to make a move ahead of their fourth and final preseason game on Thursday. And they found someone with a little familiarity to offensive coordinator Rick Dennison.

According to ESPN's Field Yates, the Bills have signed quarterback Keith Wenning, most recently of the Cincinnati Bengals. Wenning was a sixth-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens -- the same team that employed Dennison during that season.

With the link, it also means there is likely a fair bit of familiarity with the scheme that Dennison runs, enough to get the Bills through the preseason finale. Wenning joins rookie quarterback Nathan Peterman as the only two healthy quarterbacks on the roster for Thursday night's game at New Era Field.
