The Buffalo Bills announced Monday that receiver Sammy Watkins "had offseason foot surgery and is not expected to miss regular season time".
Multiple national reports say Watkins underwent a procedure about three weeks ago where he had a screw inserted into his foot.
Watkins chimed in on Twitter Monday afternoon:
To all my fans I'm doing great, can't believe everything you hear. Thanks for checking on me gotta love you guys. #BUFFLOVE

This latest injury to Watkins adds to his long list of setbacks. During his two-year NFL career he's hurt his ribs, hip, calf and ankle.
