(WKBW) — One day removed from the 2019 NFL regular season schedule coming out, the Buffalo Bills have reportedly agreed to test their mettle in joint practices with an organization they know well.

According to Joe Person of The Athletic, the Bills and Panthers will come together for joint practices in the week leading up to their preseason game on August 16. The game will be at Bank of America Stadium in downtown Charlotte, but the practices will be held on the normal site of the Panthers' training camp -- in Spartansburg, South Carolina on the campus of Wofford University.

While the exact amount of practices and dates of the sessions have yet to be announced, they will occur on the week of August 12 in the build-up to the preseason game in Charlotte on that Friday. The two sides know each other well, considering the Bills brought both head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane from the Carolina organization.

Though it's the first set of joint practices, this will be the second straight preseason that the Bills and Panthers play one another.
