The newest trend around the National Football League has been for teams to do away with traveling in the summer to hold training camp at an off-site location, and rather to house the practices right in their own facilities. The Bills are now in the minority for where they're holding training camp, and they intend to keep it that way.
The Bills announced a new five-year extension with St. John Fisher College to keep the team's training camp in Pittsford, New York through the team's camp in 2021.
“The training camp partnership between the Buffalo Bills and St. John Fisher College has been extremely beneficial for both parties,” said Bills president Russ Brandon. “Our training camp model is among the best in the entire National Football League and we’re excited to continue our relationship with St. John Fisher College and the Rochester community for years to come.”
The Bills have held their training camp at St. John Fisher College -- just outside of Rochester, NY -- since 2000.
