The Buffalo Bills and GM Doug Whaley agreed to a contract extension, co-owner Kim Pegula announced on Sunday.
Meeting in South Florida, Kim posted a tweet and photo with her husband, Terry, Whaley and team president Russ Brandon that the sides had agreed to a new deal.

Whaley was entering the final year of his contract. Buffalo finished with a 8-8 overall record and missed the playoffs for a 16th consecutive year.
Kim also tweeted the squad is looking forward to a strong 2016 campaign.
