All preseason Bills Head Coach Rex Ryan remained adamant about keeping two fullbacks on the roster.

After the Bills released veteran Jerome Felton, it opened the door for Amherst native Glenn Gronkowski to stick around One Bills Drive.

On Sunday, Buffalo added another fullback to the backfield, claiming Dan Vitale.

A sixth round pick in this past year's draft, Vitale was with Tampa Bay in the preseason.

For the second straight year, the Bills signed Dez Lewis to their practice squad.  Lewis struggled in the preseason again, but showed promise in the finale against the Lions catching two passes for 24 yards.

He earned rave reviews from the staff in minicamp and OTAs, but seemingly took a step back at training camp.

He was a seventh round pick for the Bills in 2015.

Buffalo also added specialist Jordan Gay to the practice squad.  Gay, who served as the Bills kickoff specialist the past two seasons, competed in the preseason for kicking duties with Dan Carpenter, but struggled missing a field goal and an extra point.

The Bills now have eight more spots to fill on the practice squad.
