While a successful rookie season didn't result in a Pro Bowl appearance for cornerback Ronald Darby, his solid play throughout 2015 was noticed league-wide.
Darby was named to the Pro Football Writers of America's All-Rookie Team on Tuesday afternoon, one of 25 first-year players selected for the award. Drafted in the second round, Darby was the only Bills player to be selected to the team.
In his first NFL season, Darby started 15 games and totaled 68 total tackles, along with two interceptions while in coverage. He was named to the team as one of two cornerbacks, the other being Kansas City's Marcus Peters.
Darby, New England defensive tackle Malcom Brown, New York Jets defensive end Leonard Williams, and Miami punter Matt Darr were the only players selected to the All-Rookie Team from the AFC East.
