BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — For the fourth straight year, the Buffalo Beauts will be playing for the Isobel Cup.
The Beauts, the no. 2 seed in the NWHL playoffs, topped third seed Boston 4-0 in front of a large crowd at HarborCenter. The win advanced them to the Isobel Cup Final.
Maddie Elia, Emily Pfalzer, Emily Janiga and Dani Cameranesi all scored in the win while Shannon Szabados recorded the shutout with 31 saves.
The Beauts will face the winner of the Minnesota Whitecaps and Metropolitan Riveters showdown on Sunday.
