LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (WKBW) — The fifth-seeded Buffalo Beauts had a chance to punch their ticket to the NWHL semi-finals on Sunday afternoon. But the Boston Pride cruised to a 6-0 victory on Sunday.
Boston scored three goals in the second period and three more in the third. Beauts goalie Carly Jackson made 26 saves and allowed all six goals in 50 minutes of ice time.
The Beauts and the Pride meet again on Monday night at 8:30. The winner will advance to the NWHL semi-finals to face the Toronto Six.
