BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Beauts' season has come to an end following a 5-3 loss to the Connecticut Whale in the first round of the NWHL Playoffs.

Corinne Buie got the scoring going for the Beauts in the first period to give her team a 1-0 lead. The Whale though scored the next two goals to go on top and lead it 2-1 after one period. The Beauts began the second period with Mikyla Grant-Mentis but once again, the Whale responded with another two goals to take the lead for good.
