If the crispy goodness of tater tots holds a special place in your heart, get ready to enjoy them a whole lot more at Sonic Drive-In. The fast-food chain just introduced a new limited-time-only menu item that is combining Sonic’s iconic tots with the flavors of delicious nachos. Meet totchos!

Totchos start with crispy, golden tater tots, then Sonic piles on layers of cheese sauce, crispy bacon, onions and jalapenos, all topped with zesty Baja sauce. Yum!

“Sonic Tots have become a fan favorite over the years, and we are giving them an exciting upgrade with a fiesta of cheesy nacho flavors to create a shareable snack inspired by similar delights found in gastropubs,” Sonic’s Scott Uehlein said in a press release. “What better way to warm up on a cold winter day than with a mashup of flavors from Totchos?”

The cost of totchos varies by location, but they’re priced the same as the chili cheese tots/fries, so just look at the price of those at your local Sonic. Totchos will only be around until March 1 at Sonic’s 3,500 drive-ins in 46 states, so if you want to try them, make sure you do it soon.

If you miss out, you can always order Sonic’s regular tots to go and add even more or different toppings when you get home — no judgment here!

If the idea of fried potatoes getting the nacho treatment sounds familiar, that’s probably because Taco Bell recently re-released a cult favorite: nacho fries. The Bell then took it one step further and announced their new flavor, Buffalo chicken nacho fries, a feast of shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, sour cream, nacho cheese sauce, more cheese and pico de gallo piled onto fries.

You can even get the Buffalo chicken nacho fries as a burrito, which is everything mentioned above, but wrapped in a warm flour tortilla.

And tots fans who would rather stay in might want to try one of the many amazing tater tot casserole recipes out there that you can make right in your own kitchen.
