BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The University at Buffalo men's basketball team dropped a key conference match up at Bowling Green on Friday night. The 18th ranked Bulls watched an eight-point halftime lead disappear before falling to the Falcons 92-88.

Dontay Caruthers had 28 points in the loss, C.J. Massinburg added 26, as the Bulls drop to 19-3 on the season and 7-2 in the Mid American Conference.

The loss knocked the Bulls out of first place in the MAC East and will likely drop UB out of the top 25.

The Bulls now return home to host Central Michigan on Saturday February 9.
