WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Mandy’s Cafe in West Seneca has been a stable in the neighborhood for nearly 32 years, and after closing the shop to do some renovations, the business is back open.

“We’re fortunate that we’ve been here so many years, so its a blessing that we’ve been okay," Mary Parisi, manager at Mandy's Cafe said. "But now, were more concerned for our employees and our customers who keep calling us up because they want our good food.”

Parisi says that while closed, the phones have been ringing off off the hook.

“ Our business phones, our house phones our cellphones never stopped ringing,” she said.

And now, someone is there to pick up the call. The business is now open on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:30 to 7.

"Our menu consists of a couple different soups, appetizers, our fish fry on Friday," Parisi said. "Saturday we’re doing barbecue chicken and barbecue boneless beef ribs and we also have our burger day on Saturday too.”

With every entree a customer orders, a dollar is donated to a local food bank.

“West Seneca's given us so much so we’d like to give back.” Parisi explains.

Though Mandy’s is only open on the weekends, Mary says the business may add a few extra days.

“We’re gonna see how these couple days ago and we’ll go from there.”

Customers can place orders for Mandy's Cafe, online, via the phone or in person.
