GETZVILLE, N.Y. (WKBW) — A lot of things have changed for Lebro’s Restaurant in Getzville.

“Well our business has been cut in a quarter. Our hours have changed from 11 to 8 and we’re down from about 50 employees to about 10 employees," owner of Lebro's Restaurant Carm Paolini said.

And to help keep the business afloat, Paolini says he and his manager aren’t taking any paychecks.

“It's a lot of stress, you know. A lot of worrying about how we’re going to pay our bills. How we’re gonna keep the doors open. How we’re going to pay our employees. Keep paying their health insurance,” he said.

But, despite the struggles this restaurant has been going through over the past few weeks, Paolini has still decided to give back.

“This past week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, I decided to do free meals for our seniors and deliver them for them.”

Paolini said over three days, Lebros delivered more than one thousand meals to seniors in the Amherst-Williamsville area.

“We got so many nice compliments and some wonderful cards and emails, so it was so worth it,” he adds.

One card read: It is amazing how an unexpected act of kindness can life up ones spirit in these trying times. Thank you for your thoughtfulness. You put a smile on my heart. God bless you.

And now this restaurant, which has given back to the community it serves, could really use your support. Lebros is open for take-out and curbside deliver 7 days a week and their full menu is available for take out.

"From salads to sandwiches to pasta dishes. Our fish fries, chicken, veal.” Paolini said.
