TOWN OF PORTER, N.Y. (WKBW) — A tree-cutting job in the Town of Porter turned deadly this afternoon after a man was seriously injured and later died from his injuries.
Niagara County Sheriff's deputies and EMS responded to a home around 3 p.m. after a 59-year-old man was seriously injured while cutting a tree. Despite efforts to save him, he died from his injuries.
The victim's name has not been released pending notification of his family.
The Niagara County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate.
