WWII Vet and local artist Norman Maffei was honored Saturday morning at the Hamburg Historical Society.
This event, which had around 40 people in attendance including several local dignitaries, kicked off a weekend long exhibit displaying Maffei's artwork and memoirs, which depict his time serving in Italy and Sicily.
