We know body language can be make or break an interview in extreme cases. But what about a class on the subject?
In downtown Buffalo, Wednesday, young professionals with Buffalo Niagara Partnership got the chance to see how it's important to keep what you're body looks like in mind while doing business.
“I think people know most of it. It's about being aware of certain things that are happening in a moment,” said Thembi Duncan. Duncan taught the class. She says there's lots of signs you can read from someone else, but she says reading body language is not an exact science.
“You can't just necessarily just read it and say that what it is,” added Duncan.
Someone could give off a negative look, and it might not have anything to do with what's happening.
Is your posture make or break for your next big sale? Who knows? But what some Buffalo professionals do believe, is every little bit helps to get ahead.
