Women in Leadership: holistic financial planner

Posted at 11:47 PM, Nov 25, 2014

A West Seneca woman uses holistic methods to help people fix their finances.

It's not your typical method, but Amy Jo Lauber's unique approach is why she was chosen as the November Women in Leadership honoree.

Lauber not only understands numbers, but she also understands her clients, saying many financial decisions are based on emotions.

She considers her clients' values and dreams when helping them budget their money.

Lauber started her own business four years ago when the company she worked for shut down.

This Certified Financial Planner says she never imagined she would set out on her own, but since she took the leap, she has never looked back.
