BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — This week, nearly 100,000 women will head out into their communities with Habitat for Humanity in an effort to help families in need. This week is the annual Women Build Week.
In Buffalo, more than 100 volunteers will work in neighborhoods around town, renovating and building homes for local mothers to raise their families in safer environments.
This is the third year Habitat for Humanity is running the event in the Queen City.
More than 300 Habitat organizations will take part in Women Build Week nationwide this year.
