Woman with pink stun gun charged with DWI

A Buffalo woman was charged with DWI and possession of a weapon after police stopped her for speeding.

City of Tonawanda Police say Renee Thornton, 28, was stopped for driving 49 mph in a 30 mph zone on Main Street.

Police say Thornton told officers she had been drinking "mixed drinks on Allen Street."

Police also found a pink electronic stun gun in her car.

Thornton was held on $250 bail.
