Lancaster Police say a woman who left the scene of an accident yelled obscenities at officers as they tried to detain her.

Officers say the 58-year-old woman involved in the car accident in a lot of a Transit Road supermarket had a B.A.C. four times the legal limit.

Patrols found the woman after she left the scene. They say she tried getting away while yelling obscene language as they tried to restrain her, and continued struggling as she was forcibly handcuffed.

Police say her car was towed.

According to officials, she was charged with resisting arrest, DWI, disorderly conduct and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
