A car chase through ArtPark Christmas Day began after a driver failed to stop at a stop sign.
Lewiston Police say the pursuit ended at the corner of Portage Road and Seneca Street when the car hit a tree.
Lewiston Fire Company Number 1 responded to the scene and no injuries were reported.
Police say the driver was a 54-year-old woman with a blood alcohol content of .19, more than double the legal limit.
Officials say the woman was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated arrest and her bail was set at $1000/$2000.
