BUFFALO — A 19-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after being shot in Buffalo.
Buffalo Police responded to a shots fired call along Jefferson Avenue at Southampton just before 10 p.m. When officers arrived, they found the 19-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
She was transported to Erie County Medical Center for treatment.
The Buffalo Police Department's Gun Violence nit is currently handling the investigation.
